Raw Cacao Almond-Chia Butter Cups

Uhhhh-mazing. These were so yummy. So simple. A healthy substitute to Peanut-butter cups (did you know that peanuts are not that awesome for you? Ahhh but that’s a whole other post right there.)

Melt half a cup of coconut oil and mix with a heaped tablespoon of raw cacao root powder until it dissolves. Add some natural herbal sweetener like Natvia if you want something sugary. Plonk a teaspoonful into a patty pan. Plonk some almond-chia butter (blend up almonds with chia seeds until buttery consistency or buy some from your health food store…) in the centre and let the choc melt around it. Top with a sprinkle of bee pollen. Chuck in fridge or freezer and enjoy cold.
